Mulberry House is going to come out of the Covid-19 Pandemic stronger than ever, we have refurbished our restaurant, built a new alfresco dining patio and decking along with some bedroom refurbishment. This shows the commitment from our owners that we will continue to develop our product and people.

We are looking for a commis / Demi CDP to join our kitchen team. This will involve early breakfast, mid and late shifts and involve a lot of weekends due to the nature of our wedding business.

Job responsibilities:

Working under our newly appointed head chef we need someone passionate about delivering fantastic banqueting food along with our new Pantry restaurant menu.

We would like a candidate who has an interest in pastry and likes the idea of making fresh cakes and scones daily. Mulberry House has a very popular afternoon tea trade.

The role will involve, breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and banqueting so a great role for someone who wants to be a good all rounder.

But you need to have a passion for banqueting, Mulberry House host around 100 weddings per year so normally every Friday - Sunday there will be weddings, which will include a three course wedding meal and evening buffet.

Our Mulberry Suite and Marquee can cater for 140 people seated and 250 evening guests.

You will need to pass an online level 2 food safety and health and safety training before working in our kitchens. We provide all details for this online course when we send out all relevant HR paperwork.
