SOUS CHEF

Mulberry House Hotel, Ongar, Essex is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team.

Mulberry House is a family owned and operated Wedding Venue, Restaurant and Events venue. We offer 23 guest bedrooms and a number of beautiful private dining rooms.

We host around 110 weddings per year so we require a chef who is passionate about banqueting and delivering restaurant food in a banqueting manor.

During lockdown we have refurbished our Garden room restaurant and we look to re-brand going into opening spring / summer. We are aiming at the brunch, lunch and afternoon tea market and no longer offering a dinner menu. We want our team to have a great work life balance.

We are very well known and well established in the afternoon tea market and want a chef who is passionate about pastry and wants to drive this to the next level.

The team is small and friendly and we want a chef to join our family who wants to help drive our property to the next level with constant investment from our owners and management team to make Mulberry House a foodie destination in Essex.

5 days a week, a number of evenings off pending amount of weddings, work life balance, understanding and respectful owners, nice friendly team culture within the team, staff socials.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: £25,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
