Mulberry House has become a most popular venue for Wedding receptions for so many reasons.
We can offer you peace of mind knowing that special care will be taken by our wedding co-coordinators to guarantee your day is organised to the finest detail to ensure a truly memorable day.
The beauty of the grounds provides a romantic backdrop for your wedding photographs ensuring you capture those precious memories of your day.
The main House itself has such a perfect ambience for celebratory occasions with its high ceilings and sweeping staircase.
Accommodating 120 guests for the Wedding Breakfast, the Mulberry Suite complements the House with special emphasis upon the internal oak joinery, which has successfully captured the historic nature of its surroundings.
Overnight accommodation for the bridal party is in our impressive Master Bedroom which features a sunken spa bath and canopied oak bed, offering excellent views over the lake. Accommodation is also available for your guests in our en-suite rooms, either in the main house or the courtyard rooms within the grounds. All rooms have plasma TV, telephone and wifi capacity, along with tea/coffee facilities.
At Mulberry House we ensure the highest standards are maintained and our Chefs use only the finest ingredients to conjure up a wide range of tantalising dishes for you to choose from to achieve the perfect Wedding Breakfast. Coupled with first rate service we are extremely proud of our reputation as a venue that delivers beyond expectations.
After an amazing day, we can offer a selection of mouth watering buffets as you entertain your guests with a live band or disco. We have a full license and offer a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits.

Civil Ceremonies
The demand for our wedding reception facilities has increased considerably, prompting us to now provide Civil Ceremonies at Mulberry House. We have designed the Mulberry Suite to offer flexibility depending on the size of your wedding party. It consists of three rooms that can be easily opened to form a large function room accommodating up to 120 guests for a civil ceremony or wedding breakfast, or you may prefer to use one or two of the rooms for smaller wedding parties. Other licensed rooms are also available in the main House, or you may just wish to hold your civil ceremony in one of our intimate rooms without the formality of a wedding breakfast afterwards. We would be happy to discuss with you, whatever you desire for your special day.
A number of options are available for you to solemnise your union and once you've made your choice your wedding coordinator will happily work with you to plan your day. Two Registrars from the Local Authority will conduct the ceremony.
Whilst photographs and other civil ceremony formalities are completed, guests are invited to enjoy drinks and canapés on the terrace or in the Garden Room, depending on the weather.
