We do functions at Mulberry House, but we prefer to call them "Special occasions". We have found in talking to our guests that the Hotel industry always uses the word "Function" which conveys formal occasions.
We prefer to call them special occasions and treat each occasion as if it were special.
That means that when Grandma celebrates her 80th Birthday and her friends can no longer face a three course meal will will cater with smaller sized portions.
We have found that the most popular time for baby showers is 3.00pm when the young mums can get together for champagne cream teas, this has become far more popular than a formal lunch.
In working to meet our clients needs, we found that Christening/Baby naming ceremonies inevitably involve young families and so a finger buffet which also caters for children's requirements is far more appropriate.
Silver/Ruby/Golden/Diamond Wedding Anniversaries on the other hand tend to be more formal occasions but we still prefer not to call them functions, because they are indeed celebrations.
Whatever your requirements, whatever your special occasion Mulberry House has something to offer you. Please call Mulberry House on 01277 365 398 for more information.
